My dear customers and friends, thank you for your many years of patronage, friendship, and support! As many of you know, there will be major changes coming to Autumn Comforts soon, as well as the introduction of my new site, Hannah's PinKeep (which will open in mid-September). These changes have been precipitated by the progression of my health issues, and I appreciate all the support you have shown me.
Autumn Comforts WILL CONTINUE to offer my hand-crafted quilts, dolls, candles, and other items, although much of what I make in the future will be the models for patterns I am designing (which will be sold at Hannah's PinKeep). I will still make some items strictly to sell here, but understand that doing so will no longer be my primary focus, due to the problems I'm having with my hands caused by my rheumatoid arthritis (which was first diagnosed in 2003).
Hannah's PinKeep, which will open in a few more weeks, will offer all of the supplies my fellow artisans and hobbyists use for making primitive, country, primsical, colonial, Quaker, and old-style Halloween items via quilt-making, doll-making, cross-stitch / stitchery / embroidery, needle punch, and rug-making in various methods. This will include fabrics, batting, stuffing, patterns, stitchery fabrics, embroidery flosses, threads, needles, patterns, wool, scissors, hooks, backing fabrics, patterns, other assorted notions, and more patterns! :-) Patterns from both Autumn Comforts (me!) and other designers will be available. And, additional items may be added if the demand is there, so please let me know what you would like to see offered at Hannah's PinKeep! :-)
