How to Order/Shipping Policy:
I am happy to ship to locations within the continental U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, and New Zealand. Please use the shopping cart for placing your order (if you have any problems, please email me instead, and I can invoice your order via email). Your checkout and payment will be processed on a secure server and paid through PayPal. Payment may be made by credit card, debit card, or your own PayPal-account funds/PayPal Buyer Credit. Please note also that you do NOT need to have a PayPal account in order to process your payment through their secure payment service.
The shopping cart automatically adds shipping charges in accordance with the weight of each item in your order. I have tried to estimate shipping amounts as closely as possible. In most cases, I ship via USPS Priority Mail. If shipping comes to slightly more than what you were charged, I will cover the difference; if it is less than charged (by $1 or more), I will refund the difference to you (yes, like you, I believe online retailers should charge HONEST shipping rates). I will use Flat-Rate Priority whenever possible to save you money while ensuring rapid delivery. Also, I will purchase insurance on all shipments valued at over $25.
Returns Policy:
Your satisfaction is important to me! Requests for refunds (made within 72 hours of order receipt, please) will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Absolutely NO returns will be accepted without prior email approval. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer unless the authorized return is due to my error or omission. A nominal restocking fee may also be retained on refunded returns depending on the circumstances.
Also, please note that while your satisfaction is important to me, I am not responsible for loss or damage occurring during shipping and/or after receipt of your order. Likewise, please don't hold me responsible for simple buyer's remorse. I understand entirely that an item's colors or other qualities may appear differently on your computer screen than they do once you receive the actual item, and I am usually happy to authorize a refunded return in those cases as long as the item is returned in good condition. But whether I refund shipping charges and/or charge a restocking fee is up to my discretion. Also, in some cases store credit may be authorized in place of purchase-price refunds.

Your privacy is as important to me as my own: Information gathered during check-out is used only to process your order and will never be supplied to anyone else for any other reason whatsoever.
Additional Information:
Items purchased from Autumn Comforts are coming to you from a strictly non-smoking environment. However, we do share our home with some very spoiled pets. Although I try to keep them away from my product/work areas, you may find the occasional stray kitty hair or two packed in with your order. If this is a problem due to allergies, please let me know ahead of time and I will take extra care with your ordered items.
